MEET THE TEAM

Hi, I’m ELLIE

I grew up in Easton, Maryland, an Eastern Shore wedding destination, where my love for events started early through my first job working on catering teams at local venues, helping bring weddings and celebrations to life behind the scenes. I went on to attend the University of Maryland, where I studied Media & Communication Studies with a minor in Psychology while playing Division I lacrosse. During that time, I worked within the athletics and sports media department, managing social media platforms and photographing women’s sports, with a focus on closing the gap in media coverage and building meaningful, lifelong connections. I graduated in May 2025 and returned to the events world as an event coordinator, drawn back to an industry that has always felt natural to me . What continues to pull me into events is the balance of structure and creativity: the ability to design something meaningful while staying grounded in organization, intention, and execution. At VowHaus, I bring that same approach to every celebration; thoughtful, detail-driven, and centered on bringing your vision to life in a way that feels effortless and true to you.

I’m a queer, trans, Black creative with over a decade devoted to the art of events—from sweeping corporate productions to deeply personal weddings, with time behind the camera, inside venues, and alongside catering teams in between. Most recently, I planned my own wedding from start to finish, which deepened my understanding of what this season truly holds: the excitement, the vulnerability, the million tiny decisions, and the profound meaning behind them. Having lived on every side of the process, I understand how moments are built—through rhythm, detail, and care. I plan with both intention and heart, creating celebrations that feel effortless, elevated, and unmistakably yours. And my favorite part of the wedding day is never the spectacle—it’s the quiet in-between: stolen glances, shared breaths, hands finding each other in the middle of it all. That’s where the magic lingers.
